Who we are

TAM MRO is a TAM business unit dedicated to offering components and air frame maintenance services to airlines and aircraft operators.

TAM MRO currently employs more than 1,000 professionals in its hangars, shop and facilities, including technicians and engineers. Our goal is to provide continuous client satisfaction, optimization of resources, improvement of processes and reduction of turnaround time by investing in new technologies and enhancing our facilities.

History

Founded in 2001 in the city of São Carlos, in the countryside of São Paulo State, TAM MRO occupies an area of 49,513,988 square feet and includes a public runway close to Viracopos International Airport, in Campinas, to facilitate customer access.

The center is structured to receive aircraft ranging from Airbus 320/330, Fokker 100, ATR-42 and Boeing 767, for heavy maintenance (for both narrow as well as wide bodies aircraft). We offer component maintenance (more than 5,500 P/Ns (par t numbers) in our current capability list) as well as line maintenance and ground support. Besides that, we are able to offer customized services in order to cater the customer´s specific needs. We are always expanding our capabilities for both components and aircraft models to provide a complete support to our customers. Our close partnership with universities and research centers also al low us to contribute to the development of the region, creating jobs and preparing a highly qualified labor force.

Certifications

The area Certification mediates the processes of acquisition, maintenance and / or increase the scope of the certifications and approvals of MRO São Carlos with the aeronautical authorities and accreditation bodies. Act also helping other sectors of the Vice President MRO interpret the applicable aeronautical requirements and adapt their processes to meet them. As well as other countries' regulatory agencies. We are also certified and approved by IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit), and we have a high-level quality standards, including a strong environmental protection policy. DIRMAB Certification (Defense and Space) from the Brazilian Ai r Force (FAB), to provide complete support to the Presidential Aircraft A319CJ.
